In compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other global privacy frameworks, Playbott provides clear paths to request data deletion. You can read our policy below or submit a formal deletion request directly using the interactive form.
1. Data Deletion Policy
When you request account deletion, we purge or anonymize the following data associated with your profile and organization:
- User Account Profile: Your name, email, salted-hashed password, and role assignments.
- Support Conversations: Active and archived chat session logs, agent responses, and customer feedback.
- Widget Settings: Custom prompt structures, styling overrides, and domain registration configurations.
- Integration Keys: Any linked third-party service credentials and API tokens.
Warning: Once processed, data deletion is irreversible. Backup files are overwritten periodically and cannot be restored individually.
2. Request Deletion Form
Submit your registered email address to initiate a formal data deletion request. Our team will verify ownership and process the removal.
3. Request Processing
Once identity verification is complete, the deletion request is processed through the following timeline:
- Verification: You must click the confirmation link sent to your registered email address.
- Grace Period: Account access is suspended immediately. We hold the data in a queue for 7 days in case of accidental requests.
- Final Purge: After the grace period, all active database records are permanently purged. Backups are completely rolled over within 30 days.
4. Third-Party Data
If you have used third-party integrations (e.g. Slack, Google CRM, SMTP services), the metadata stored in Playbott will be deleted. However, you may need to separately revoke application access tokens from your respective integration provider consoles to completely detach connections.
